Employee Briefing Day 2023.

Last week Fireward held its first Annual Employee Briefing Day. The day was filled will awards, presentations and pizzas!  🔥

We started the morning with a video message from our CEO, Sam Malins, and a speech from our Managing Director, Lee Palmer. These discussions covered the investments and progress that Fireward has made over the previous year, including new members of the team, an additional new office, and the events & exhibitions we attended. 

Our employees are the main reason for our success and to celebrate their hard work, we have two awards that will be presented annually. This year, Ian Watson was awarded Sales Manager of the Year and Matthew Oldham was awarded Engineer of the Year. We want to thank both of these employees for always taking pride in their work and continually displaying our core values. 🏆

Throughout the rest of the day, we had presentations from our Human Resources, Operations, Sales and Technical departments. Various topics were covered including our policies, new project management software, growth markets and the new approvals from our manufacturer, Reacton. 

To finish off the day our Group Finance Director, Nick Hamblin, made everyone pizzas! As we are a nationwide company, it was great to have everyone in the same place for a long-awaited catch-up. 🍕

We can't wait for next year to see the progress we have made as a business.
