Fireward recently attended the Essex Young Farmers show at Boyton Hall in Roxwell. The family show has been running for over 30 years and is run solely by the organisation's members. There were over 100 trade stands, remarkable displays and a craft hall, all focused on the agricultural industry.

Fireward also shared a stand space with our sister company, The Dunmow Group - who are the largest waste management company in Essex. Throughout the day our sales and operations team spoke to various members of the agricultural sector about our systems and how they can protect their assets.

Fire Suppression is extremely important in the agricultural sector, especially as it is mandatory for some insurance companies. Fireward automatic systems can protect a variety of machinery used for farming, ensuring the operation, people, and site are safe 24/7.

One of the main focuses of the day was suppression systems for combine harvesters*. Last year we partnered with NFU (National Farmers Union) Mutual to test our system. We installed one of our systems onto an old combine harvester and set the machine alight. Watch the video below to see the results.
