Fireward partnered with The Wastemasters Group to display a JCB JS20MH on our stand at RWM Lets Recycle Live. After the event, this particular machine went to work in a waste processing site.

Material handlers are a vital part of the waste and recycling industry and often work long hours. Tonnes of combustible materials are processed daily within waste processing sites, with such strenuous activities and long operating hours taking place there is an increased risk of a fire breaking out. Whether it's construction, commercial, wood or metal waste, the risk of a fire starting is incredibly high, making fire suppression vital.

This JCB JS20MH is protected by our dual agent system, which won the innovation awards 2022 at RWM Lets Recycle Live. The dual agent system utilises both wet chemical and dry powder, which makes it the most reliable system on the market.

At 180 degrees celsius, our UL-approved pneumatic detection tubing will burst, causing the pressure to drop and the valve to open. The two suppressant agents will simultaneously discharge, extinguishing the fire in seconds. Pairing the cooling properties from the wet chemical, with the powerful fire knockdown from the dry powder, is what makes the dual-agent system so dependable. Not only will the fire be suppressed instantly, the chances of reignition are reduced considerably.

As well as the dual agent system, this machine is fully equipped with all of our additional safety features. This includes an in-cab monitoring system, manual actuator, battery isolation and engine shutdown. The optional extras, combined with the industry-leading system, ensure that the material handler has the highest level of fire protection possible.
