We recently installed our Dual Agent Automatic Fire Suppression System on a Claas Lexion 7500 Combine Harvester, delivering robust protection against fire risks in agricultural operations.
How Fireward’s Dual Agent System Works
Our Dual Agent system uses dry powder to knock down flames fast, while wet chemical cools superheated components to stop fires from reigniting. Both agents are released through strategically positioned nozzles, triggered by a pneumatic detection tube that bursts under extreme heat.
System highlights:
Dry Powder - Fast flame knockdown and deep fire penetration
Wet Chemical - Cools engine components to prevent reignition
Pneumatic Detection - Tube bursts under heat to trigger release of pressure in cylinder(s)
Indirect Release System - Agents delivered via nozzles for full coverage
Additional Features:
Machine Shutdown – Cuts the engine automatically to reduce fuel-fed fires
Manual Actuator – Gives operators manual override for instant fire suppression
Battery Isolator – Disconnects power to minimise electrical fire risks

Fire Risks in Agricultural Machinery
The Claas Lexion 7500 Combine Harvester operates in dusty, dry environments where build-ups of crop residue and long operating hours increase the risk of fire. A fire suppression system is crucial to protect valuable machinery, reduce downtime, and keep harvest operations running without interruption.
Industry-Leading Protection for Claas Combines
Fireward’s automatic fire suppression systems are designed to handle the demanding conditions of the agricultural sector. Our systems are trusted across the industry to keep essential machinery protected against catastrophic fire damage.
