We recently installed a Single Agent Automatic Fire Suppression System on a Doosan DX140W Material Handler, providing essential fire protection for waste and recycling - energy from waste operations.

How Fireward’s Single Agent System Works

Our Single Agent system utilises dry powder for fast and effective fire suppression:

• Dry Powder quickly knocks down flames and prevents fire spread, even in concealed areas of the machine.

Release System & Detection

This system features an Indirect Release System, deploying suppression agents through nozzles for maximum coverage. It is activated by a Pneumatic Detection Tube, which bursts under high temperatures, triggering the system.

Additional Features:

In-Cab Monitor - Alerts the operator when a fire is detected and suppressed
Engine Shutdown - Automatically shuts down the engine to prevent further damage
Battery Isolation - Cuts off the battery supply to reduce electrical fire risks
