Our Dual Agent Automatic Fire Suppression System has been installed on a Liebherr LH40 Material Handler, providing critical fire protection for waste & recycling - scrap metal operations.
How Fireward’s Dual Agent System Works:
Our Dual Agent system utilises dry powder and wet chemical suppression agents to provide comprehensive fire safety:

Dry Powder rapidly knocks down flames and suppresses hidden fires in hard-to-reach areas.

Wet Chemical cools superheated engine components, preventing reignition through strategically placed nozzles in the engine bay.
Release System & Detection
This system features an Indirect Release System, deploying suppression agents through nozzles for maximum coverage. It is activated by a Pneumatic Detection Tube, which bursts under high temperatures, triggering the system.

In-Cab Monitor - Alerts the operator when a fire is detected and suppressed
Manual Actuator - Allows manual activation of the system in an emergency
Engine Shutdown - Automatically shuts down the engine to prevent further damage
Battery Isolation - Cuts off the battery supply to reduce electrical fire risks
